Garden Of Roses Cafe - CANOWINDRA

The cafes in Canowindra open a bit late, after 8 AM, which is a downside. I ordered a latte and an egg and bacon roll. They were good, but there was room for improvement. It's important to remember that this is a small town where people work hard to keep their jobs and ensure their customers are happy. Overall, I would give my experience a 4 out of 5.

The building itself is impressive, but I felt unwelcome there. I received some very judgmental looks from other customers, which was quite uncomfortable. The staff did show some kindness to a little child who was crying, but then charged me $8 for two ice blocks without any visible prices, plus a $1 EFTPOS fee that they didn’t mention upfront.

I came for the quirky atmosphere and stayed for the delicious burger with the added toppings. It seems that the chicken burger was a bit too well-done.
