What Larissa M likes about Chilenazo:
Little spot with Chilean food. I was getting food to go and I loved the delicious smells inside when waiting for my food. Seems like they definitely specialize in Empanadas so it's a must have for me to try next time. I ordered the fish and chips to go. They were a little softer than I normally like my white fish and not as crunchy as I'd like but still very good. Comes with a red sauce and green sauce which was diff... View all feedback. I’m so disappointed in the pastel de choclo this time! My husband is Chilean and we live down in Santa Monica, so we stop by for Chilean food whenever we are nearby. read moreChilenazo serves as a cozy oasis for fans of Chilean cuisine, particularly renowned for its empanadas that draw mixed reviews. While the shrimp and beef varieties have received praise for their flavor and crispness, some dishes like the pastel de choclo and torta de merengue fell short of expectations. Patrons appreciate the friendly service, fresh juices, and the comforting authenticity of dishes reminiscent of home. Although some experience minor missteps in order accuracy or wait times, the overall charm and potential of Chilenazo keep many returning for more delightful bites of Chilean comfort food.
