This is a fantastic spot with great prices. They offer a wide variety of unique drinks. It's one of the only places near the Kokosnuss Tapioca balls. The staff member I interacted with was super nice and helpful; he was very knowledgeable about all the drink options. View all feedback.
What Terrance Rau doesn't like about Boba Mate:
The staff were friendly, but the original military drink was too watered down and tasted like lotion. My friends’ Boba drinks also lacked flavor and were diluted. View all feedback.
Was earlier sago boba. now it's boba mate under new property. they haven't had any boko pandan or Halo neck yet. hopefully they will soon find out a recipe.
This was my second time visiting Sago Boba and didn't have a good experience. The first time I went, I had tried 2 milk teas (Milk and Jasmine) that tasted old and tasted like it had come straight from a carton that was left outside. I figured I'd give them a second chance and try something else on the menu. The second time I came, I got Matcha milk tea and mango slushy. The matcha was pure powder and had no flavoring to it and also tasted a bit old. The Mango slushy was water down and tasted artificial even though I was told it was real fruit. We asked if we could please exchange our drinks, which were still completely full, for something else and he said he would accommodate it. After throwing our drinks away, he still charged us for new ones, even though we had only taken one sip right in front of him. I bought Thai tea and it was left it white residue and also tasted like it has been left out.
Boba and (free) Books?! This might be my new fave place! I had the lavender milk tea with boba, per recommendation of the sweet lady working, as it is a specialty of their's. My other choice was coconut, but she was right and said I could get that anywhere. It was a great choice! I also snagged a few of the books from their free offering; two cookbooks and Chicken Soup for the Teacher's Soul for a teacher friend. Such a sweet idea, and delicious sweet beverages!
This is THE BEST PLACE IN CANOGA PARK FOR REAL FRUIT ?? ?SLUSHES?
Finally got to try this place out, I have passed by it so many times and never noticed it, but glad I did. I got a Taro milk tea and the crushed ice cubes were my favorite part! There drinks were both a balance of sweet and refreshing, I would have personally liked it more sweet, but that is just the sweet tooth side of me kicking in. Overall, a cute cozy spot with pretty good drinks!
