I got the crab cakes, crab dinner and captains plate. It’s not a traditional sit down restaurant, which I don’t mind but the taste doesn’t match the price. How are the fries more flavorful than a fried oyster or piece of salmon? To top it off all of the “meals” don’t come with a drink. $50+ for one Dungeness crab meal and it doesn’t even come with a Pepsi All I wanted was a Pepsi View all feedback.
Ordered clam chowder and fried halibut. Clam chowder was very thick and creamy but mostly potatoes ? and not much clams in it. Fried halibut was perfect and yummyful!
We recently tried this spot for lunch on our annual trip to Cannon Beach, and honestly I’m just sad we didn’t know about this GEM earlier. From now on Ecola will be a staple in my families Cannon Beach trips. Dare I say their fish and chips are the best on the Oregon Coast? Hands down they are. If you’re contemplating trying this restaurant, let this review push you to do just that, you will not regret it. Edit to add: we went three times during our week long stay!
By far the best meal we have had in cannon beach! The service was wonderful recommendations were spot on! The whole crab meal was cooked perfectly! Clam chowder was tasty, and the steamed Dungeness crab was perfection! We plan to eat here again before we leave.
Great owner and employees that care about seafood. The best casual dining seafood restaurant in a 100 mile radius! Razor clams, crab, fish dinners cooked to perfection.
Delicious fresh food. I had a crab and shrimp boat with a cup of clam chowder. The vibe is alright too!
