Saleem Bagh Indian - Cannock

Have been many times food always of high quality but unfortunately both of us did not enjoy our meal and felt the standard had slipped. The taste and tenderness of the lamb and chicken in our meals was of below standard and meal bland. Staff are as usual very friendly.

A great find for pre theatre dining! What amazing food I have complex intolerances meaning I cannot have lactose, garlic nor onion (amongst others) which is hard with indian cuisine (also my favourite) A phone call to the restaurant beforehand offered assurance I could be catered for and what a superb job they did! I was advised exactly which dishes could be adapted and was not limited to the usual one or two which was a refreshing change from pub grub where all too often the only dish on offer is gammon, egg chips as no adaptations can be made to others! Attentive, friendly staff great value for money. Very convenient for our pre theatre meal too. Will definitely be back! I had chicken shashlick, salad, sag aloo all freshly prepared without onion or garlic

For how much I paid I was disappointed with the quantity

First time using this restaurant. Food was very nice and will use again.

Very poor value for money, smallest portion ever in an Indian restaurant. Can understand why it was very quiet for a Saturday night.
