Contribute FeedbackThe recent dining experience at this restaurant left much to be desired. Guests reported unwelcoming service, dirty tables, and untrained staff, raising concerns about hygiene amid ongoing health issues. The ambiance, which once celebrated a comforting carvery, now feels pretentious and intimidating. Attendees faced long waits, inadequate communication regarding protocols, and subpar food quality, including undercooked and poorly prepared dishes. The transformation of the venue has alienated its loyal patrons, making it clear that the establishment prioritizes an upscale clientele over family-friendly dining. Overall, it's advisable to seek out alternative options for a satisfying meal.
Sticky horrible tables, food was dry, bland and overcooked. The only saving grace was decent homemade pizza.
Absolutely filthy place totally rundown offered a booth with the seats all ripped carpet is sticking to your shoes when we asked to move they placed us on a table with odd sized chairs and the table was sticky and unclean staff unhelpful and awkward
I booked a table for a family meal to be taken to a table with benches looking like they had been half eaten (males sense food looked revolting so when I asked if they could seat us somewhere else as there were ample empty tables to be told no!!! I explained it would make me uncomfortable to be seated there as covid and noway had it been cleaned just to be basically shown the door left myself partner and children very uncomfortable and upset disgracefull
Absolute appalling pub, would not recommend. Took 17 minutes to bring us a menu after being rude to us on first approach
Food was awful roast potatoes were rock solid, meat was dry, kids fish finger meal was terrible. Mash potato was watery, and was seated in the middle of a pandemic on a table right next to other people despite there being loads of tables around free! No social distancing at all.
