Great food, great service, great price! Wide selection of sushi with vegetarian options. Small place and very attentive friendly service. Would definitely recommend and come again. View all feedback.
What Ariel Mancini doesn't like about Sushi Bar Wazakura:
Took the family for Saturday meal again on TA recommendations , place is tiny with seating for possibly 12 max inside. Good selection but portions of raw fish tiny for price. Service good but also bill quite pricey. Unfortunately felt hungry 1 hr later. We didn't go back View all feedback.
I travel with my family. We are Asians. After a few days of French and Italian food, we looked up on TA for some recommendation for Japanese choices. Wazakura has fairly good comment and is well located less than 8 minutes away from train station. Food is freshly prepared. The chef maybe also the owner runs a one-man show and does an amazing job. There are good selection of Japanese beer. He also gave us a complimentary bottle of Evian. Nice touch.
This place is such a treat, we walked past and thought it looked closed however the door was open so we went in and there are a few tables inside. The decor looked a bit scruffy however it is charming. There was one chef who was running the place on his own. He brought over some complimentary prosecco which I think was a really nice touch. Then we ordered some miso soup, 4 sushi rolls and some tuna sashimi and some green tea. The green tea was really light and refreshing. The miso was really tasty and well balanced. All the sushi and sashimi was great. We then had some hot sake. All this only cost €60 which I thought was really good value and I throughly enjoyed my meal and will definitely go back.
A short break holiday in Cannes, after found this restaurant was one of the best part of the holiday, and had almost all dinner there.Had sushi in Tokyo and some other city, this one could be one of the best. And most important, the price is very reasonable, for same quality sushi you will have to pay half more in London. The restaurant is tiny and there are about 15 chairs but since all the food is tailor made follow your order and the chef won't be able to do it very fast so you'd better get there as earlier as possible when it's open, otherwise you will have to wait quite a while.
Good reviews are well deserved. This place is tiny so book in advance if you would like to sit in - most people seem to take the food out. We have ordered pretty much from everything on the menu and it all tasted as good as it gets when it comes to Sushi. If you prefer a fancy environment this place is not for you, but if you come for the the food and do not mind a casual arrangement and slow but friendly service, this is the true sushi experience.
Excellent customer service and fresh food for a small restaurant. I'll be back next time. The service was fast and friendly.
