We booked a table here for 9 and we were all delighted by the food and service ! There is a wide range to choose from so everyone is sure to find something they will enjoy ! After eating, we got sun beds, had a swim and drinks ! Great location and kid friendly ! They also provide a water sports service, we went out on the fly fish and had great fun ! What Alexandria Meunier doesn't like about Restaurant La Plage-Gray d'Albion Barriere:
Today we invited a friend to lunch. this includes the ability to catch up and have a conversation with some drinks and good eating! it was literally impossible. I was never at a place where the music was so loud that it was impossible to have a conversation. not only the incredibly loud music from the restaurant itself, but also from mome plage next door! I was completely unacceptable in quieter clubs. we have paid o... View all feedback.
The place is great for the views. Service was also very friendly and attentive. Unfortunatelly the foos was not good. All three main dishes were average to poor. So next time will try another of plage restaurants.
A beautiful location (on the beach), beautiful teracces, very friendly staff and efficient service, food and wine selection is good, quality is good and prices are reasonable for this location. In other words: excellent!
Lovely beach club of the Hotel Gray D'Albion - best to reserve for sun lounger and/or lunch as its open to non residents too. Cocktails are very good and always served with some tasty nibbles - comfy sofas and plenty of shady umbrellas to help while away an afternoon - doesn't open for dinner.Visited almost everyday of our weeks stay in Cannes - staff were warm and friendly.
Generally they are very busy, you must have a reservation unless you don't mind waiting for a very long time. The food is very good with a limited choice, beach is wonderful very good for swimming and water sports. My second visit, Very satisfied with the food and unsatisfied with the service timing,
It must be pointed out that this is a beach restaurant, i.e. rather casual, plenty of sand on the toilet floors etc. This said, the view and the food make up for it. Very romantic if you get a table close to the beach, you can hear the Mediterranean and see the stars, and the prices are very correct. Cheaper than in 'rue du Suquet' and the food is excellent. The fresh fish changes daily, and the menu includes something for everyone. Good value for money!!!
