The food was very good and the waiting staff were friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, the person who appeared to be in charge was quite rude to me. While he... read more The food was very good and the waiting staff were friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, the person who appeared to be in charge was quite rude to me. While he was setting up a table, I approached him politely and asked whether we could have a drink while waiting, pointing towards what looked like a bar area. He replied, “You arrived in the middle of the night asking for a table to have dinner and now you also want a drink?” Almost shouting at me. I told him that I was simply asking politely whether we could sit at the bar while waiting, and at that point he calmed down. The rest of the evening went well, but I was disappointed by this interaction. I don’t know whether this is considered normal in France, but I do not appreciate rudeness from people working in hospitality, especially when I have been nothing but polite and respectful.

One small observation: I found the wine list a bit pricey.
