Le Marais - Cannes

We were eaten an evening of August in this restaurant, very friendly reception. menu at 29€ : in the entrance, crab ravioli, super good. Then a very tender and cooked meat as requested. dessert, a glazed nougat and a simple but really appetizing strawberry cut. only flat, the price of the woods: 6€ tea with mint in bag, 5 € the coca, must be tasted! Anyway, a nice meal, in a pretty street, quieter than the rest of the canes.

We chose the marsh for its attractive menu at 29 euros (entrance, dish, dessert). So we took two menus, and two drinks (beer and coca) the dishes were correct (except desserts.) having a train to take, we quickly paid the check. we realized too late unfortunately the amount we had paid: 91.45 euros. while we had two menus and two drinks. After reflection, we understood the reason (perhaps honest from the restaurant managers:) at the time of order, we announced that we wanted the menus (for the menus, some dishes are offered.) the person who took the orders also proposed other dishes. We asked if they were included in the menu, she confirmed that yes. So we chose some dishes she offered us. Unfortunately these dishes were on the map, explaining the very high addition. this way of proceeding is completely dishonest and we wish to share it, hence the title of the notice.

3 retters til en god pris. Variert og god meny. Personalet var hyggelig og veldig service innstilt. Kan spesielt anbefale mix seafood platter og grilled beef.

Koselig restaurant i gamlebyen.Vi spiste 3-retters her til 29 euro og maten var fantastisk. Eneste som trekker litt ned er at vi ble kastet ut før vi var ferdige med vinen pga noen hadde reservert vårt bord (dette fikk vi ikke beskjed om på forhånd).Dette var litt synd da vi var helt klare på at denne restauranten fortjente toppkarakter. Gir den allikevel svært bra pga maten og vinen var utrolig god.

The staff is very friendly and is keen on making you have a great time. We spent an evening here with our three kids and truely enjoyed the hospitality of Leon Marais and their food. The prices are very affordable compared to other locations in Cannes and this is truely a gem in the croisettes.
