Fouquet's Cannes

Impeccable service and surprising and refined place. I recommend for dessert the chef's tray. The presentation is beautiful. And there is a nice presentation of the different pastries.

On a holiday at the beginning of September on the French Riviera, I had come to dinner at Fouquet’s, convinced of living an exceptional experience. At the time of booking on the phone, the lady on the other end of the line used a rather dry tone and did not consider it good to explain to me where and how to get to the restaurant while I had entrusted to come for the first time. When I arrived on the evening of my reservation, no signs and no staff to guide you, I asked the valeters. The indications were concise but I thought they would be enough until I arrived in the “hall” between the bar and the restaurant where I waited for 15 min show in hand that someone would welcome me. They were looking at me, but no more. Once taken care of by the people at the restaurant’s reception, I was taken to a very well located table. In my opinion, the service was not at the height of a restaurant and a hotel of this standing there: no positive attitude, several waiters haited to whom we dare not ask questions of fear of disturbing, no announcement of the dishes or even of the sweet mouths brought graciously at the beginning of the meal (we don’t know what we eat, I deduced that it was a special kind of bread The meal was good and that’s what saves the customer experience for me. I know that the professions of customer service are not simple and take a lot of energy but I was very surprised by this experience.

I would like to tell you, I had a pleasant time, it was great, a welcome to the top an irreproachable service and impeccable cuisine thanks to Fouquet’s and at the very reasonable price level, everything I ate was really extraordinary. Thanks again to all of you.
