The drink menu may be limited, but there are good choices available. Guests enjoy locally sourced food and a welcoming atmosphere, especially on the outdoor deck. The Three Sisters Diner offers simple, delicious food favored by locals, like fish and chips. While a wait may be expected, the homemade meals are worth it. Payment in cash is required, but the friendly staff and tasty burgers make it a must-try spot. Follow online for daily specials and stop in as a guest to enjoy the hearty menu.
The food here is very good and locally sourced always a nice atmosphere and in the summer its nice to sit outside on the deck and watch the world go by, very friendly staff
Nothing fancy, just great homemade food. You need to go up to counter to order and need to pay cash but food is delicious and price is right. Friendly staff! Would recommend the burgers.
We went to this diner for breakfast based solely on reviews. It's a bit different, but we had a great breakfast at a great price, and I think you can get breakfast there all day. Would go again next time.
The pub is inside the veterans hall and serves typical pub food. The members are friendly to the visitors. The burgers are very good but the fries tend to be a bit soggy. The drink menu is a bit limited but good choices are available depending on your tastes.
This little diner is located in the Canadian Legion in Canmore...just a block off main street. The food is fantastic. I had the BEST grilled ham and cheese sandwich ever. The ham is off a roast not out of a plastic container. My husband had the all day breakfast and he said it was hot, tasty and one of the best breakfasts he has had. Both items for just $13.00. The menu has a range of diner food; burgers, sandwiches, burritos (a friend said this was huge and great tasting)...also we understand some of the best liver and onions around. Some of the appetizers sound interesting too...Cheese stuffed pretzels, jalapeno poppers, veggie samosas, apple crisp. There is a kids menu. Many people think if they are not a member of a legion they cannot come in but this is not the case. Just sign in as a visitor no problem. The legion is big, has a nice outdoor deck...also pool tables. Check their Friday night dinners (along with bingo at 7 p.m.). Parking is available on their small lot or on the street. They are closed Sunday and Monday but open at 9 a.m. for the day.Whether you are traveling through Canmore or a local, the food is exceptional, freshly made with fresh ingredients and some of the best prices in the bow valley. Beer is very reasonable too; bottles are under $5.00. They have recently renovated the meeting rooms in the basement and I understand the rent is very reasonable if you need a place to meet.
