Stirling Dining Room And Lounge

We had our wedding dinner here in the private dining room and it was fantastic!! The staff was so professional and sweet. The room was beautifully decorated and the meal was delicious! We also had breakfast there the next day and the French toast and breakfast routine was so extra in the best way possible!! We can't expect to come back to our next stay at the Malcolm Hotel to try more of Sterling's menu!

We celebrated our elopement with a mini-beat honeymoon for Malcom and served in the Stirling for most of our meals. From breakfast to dinner and even night hats we recommend everything. With fresh ingredients and great cooking, the food was a highlight for our trip! Service: Dine in

Lunch for 2 adults and 1 child cost us over $90. Yikes! Unreasonable price for average tasting food. The poutins we ordered were warm with maybe 5 or 6 pieces of cheese and not almost enough engraving. It won't come back sadly. Food: 2 Service: 4 atmosphere: 3

We have expected reservations that it is in the dining room, but it is closed for renovations and they are not in the dining room menu. This was not communicated by any hotel personnel or hosts/servers until we asked. The lounge/terrace menu is different. Drinking was slow to get out. The food was not great (overcrowded fish and chips, fat Sirloin Steak). I think they could be in transition with new employees, so hopefully the service will be better in the coming weeks. We were told when the dining room opens, it will have a new menu.

Good friendly service, coming from UK I do find it annoying that a 15% minimum tip is expected for pouring a pint. Price per person: CA$10–20 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
