We visit Canmore a couple of times a year and always call into this bakery. Their sausage rolls are excellent, I usually eat mine cold on the road and they are definitely better than grocery store sausage rolls. For what you are getting the sandwiches are overpriced. The pic I've shown is half a sandwich only but just double it up is what you get for a full sandwich for $10.95. It's pretty small and the service is slow. I was also disappointed no more soup was available at 1.30pm cause clearly I was still hungry. My kids had 2 grilled cheese panini sandwich. Moist cookies, great tea, delicious grilled cheese, hand made sandwiches. I'll be back.
They have wide array of savoury pastries, pies, and sweet breads to compliment your hot beverages. Family-friendly cafe that has several tables and a patio for any big groups! They can get really busy in the morning so be there early!
We enjoyed a lovely lunch here. The Turkey melt was tasty, presentation is pretty basic but it was delicious. The latte was so good! Well done!! The only issue we had was the lack of change table. The one bathroom definitely has space for it and it’s listed as kid-friendly but there was no where to change my baby. I asked the staff for an option but they couldn’t offer anything. After a long drive in from Calgary and lunch in the restaurant, I had to change my baby and the only option was right in the restaurant next to other customers which was really awkward and not ideal for other diners or myself. Just surprised a kid-friendly restaurant wouldn’t have a change table.
Cute cafe, but really annoying how they handle complaints. I ordered a grilled cheese it came out looking tasting very unappetizing especially for $12. I was hoping that the server would be willing to swap it out with another sandwich or offer me a refund however they refused to do either…. Also no wifi In a cafe???
