Le Buffet - Caniço

Das Knoblauchbrot ist spitze, die Dorade hat herrlich gesvhmekt auch der service war bestens nur das Eis hat uns nicht so geschmeckt.

Wir haben dort mehrmals gegessen, Die Qualität des Essens war ausgezeichnet und die Preise sind moderat.Sehr zu empfehlen ist das Haus-Steak mit frischen Röstzwiebeln.Das Personal ist freundlich und der Chef Robert sehr hilfsbereit.Wir könne das Le Buffet uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Food was very good and well cooked. Breakfasts catered for English and Continental palletes. The evening meal had cold starters of everything you could imagine. Plus a choice of 4 hot main courses with vegetables. the fruit and veg were fresh.

Please see my earlier review. My wife & I returned in April 2014. Basically nothing has changed and yet it had. The place lacked it's previous sparkle. Same menu, same excellent chef but this visit it only rated an OK. Where was the wonderful Paulo ? He had gone for good we were told. We were not told why or where but we now realise how important one person can be to a business. Without Paulo the place had lost its soul. We went a couple of times but then sought an alternative. If Paulo returns one day we will have every meal there again. Le Buffet lost Paulo so I am afraid it has lost a Star in more ways than one. Please let us know if he returns.Apologies for the long delay in this posting. As this restaurant has mostly German clientele, I had also included a copy in German. Seems this is not allowed by Trip Advisor and they blocked my post . .Why this discrimination ??? Apologies to all Germans.

Im Le Buffet schmeckt das Essen einfach fantastisch. Egal ob man etwas Einheimisches oder "Normales" isst, es ist einfach lecker.
