one of the only not fully vegan places I went to canggu because there are so many other fully vegan places to go, but I was really surprised by the understanding and amount of options for vegans. would recommend it and come back. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Ithaka:
I wouldn't come back to eat. many of the vegan options that are marked on the menu are not vegan that I found very frustrating. I always check at ordering and despite labeled vegan on the menu I was informed that many actually contain ice or milk. I had the pumpkin soup that had a nice taste, but was a thick pumpkin consistency that I did not expect. was small and a small piece of bread to accompany was an additional... View all feedback.
A beautiful place with multiple vegan options. You get the food on big wooden chunks, really nice vibes. The Indonesian food was in most cases vegan. Definitely Check it out when you finished surfing
Lovely venue but a little hit and miss with the food. The Love Indonesia plate was amazing with the vegetable fritters and fried tempeh, but the gado gado was a little bland with its peanut sauce. Service friendly but a bit on the slow side. Outdoor seating which was super cute, but when it rained it poured and you’ll have to move to limited seating.
This was my favourite meal in Canggu. Most of the menu is vegan/vegetarian, and both are clearly marked. There 's a good amount of vegan options, including Indonesian food. We had 'Love Indonesia ' (fried tempeh, salt fried noodles, vegetable fritters with chilli soy sauce) and an 'Ubud Bowl ' (sweet potato, pumpkin, mushrooms, beetroot, onion, kale, roasted chickpeas, and parsley tahini and lime dressing). Both were delicious. You can quite easily miss this place as it 's above another restaurant, up a flight of steps to the right. They also have a terrace up another flight of steps with views of the sea. NOTE: Ithaka is definitely not ! at max. Check the menu on their website, which is very clear.
Lovely place, was near our apartment so had dinner there a couple of times. The food was good
