Les Frayettes - Canet-en-Roussillon

Having recently visited Canet Plage we were looking for somewhere good to eat. I looked on TripAdvisor and found this place, as we were near it we thought it a good place to eat. It was evening, peak time and it was busy always a good sign. Well everything after this went down hill. The food was mediocre and the service was unwelcoming. After the server yelled at us across the tables, we sat down. I found the server to be rude and unfriendly, rolling her eyes at us and at one stage I am sure she was being rude about us to some French people. I was ready to up and leave, it was only that I had my children with me and they were rather hungry we decided to sit it out!!!! I wouldn't recommend this place and I certainly would not return to it either, but that was my own experience.

Good location with a simple and nice terrace. Good quality products as well. Unfortunately the quality of service damaged the experience: the waitress was unfriendly :

So much choice along the sea front it’s really hard to know which restaurants are good, however this is. Stopped for lunch on our walk back from Canet en Roussillon old town. Super friendly greeting, with recommendations on their dish of the day specials. Menu good, caters for all has a good choice for kids too. I would recommend the crepes, I had a savoury Camembert with apple, delicious. Whilst my husband had the homemade burger with fries. The burger was cooked to perfection, seasoned well and the homemade fries, again delicious. All washed down with a local white wine! Certainly try this place if in the area

You just have to try their things! Cool and friendly atmosphere, great house wine , and the burgers...to die for! They are also opened on Sundays! We'll be back soon! P.S. try also their Pavlova

Clairement un des meilleurs restaurants de Canet Plage. Prix abordables, ambiance conviviale, et surtout des burgers à tomber par terre. Tous les produits sont maison et préparés avec amour. Je recommande vivement. Merci à vous pour ces bons moments.
