Two families together with four children aged 7-10. Great food, tried lots of different dishes, with everyone satisfied. Can recommend chicken. Pasta dishes quite large, so be carefull not ordering too much. Host has lots of old-school charm, instructing childs how to spice food, clearly earned their respect.

Wonderful visit: excellent food, attentive and generous service and portions. Home-made amaro a delight!

I had dinner with friends here yesterday and would not recommend this place. Their pasta is good and it is an authentic, cosy setting. But the starters and especially the fish as a main were not good. So if you go: Stick to pasta

Had dinner with pasta and a bottle of Dolcetto. No problem, the pasta was good and the service swift. No one spoke anything but Italian but it was no big problem. We also had dessert and espresso Grappa. All where good and the cost moderate. I have no problem eating here again the next time we are in Canelli and like to have pasta. we were later told that sometimes a younger, very rude, waiter is working there but we never experienced that. Both our waiters were older, at least 65+, and very nice.
