A hidden gem amidst the overhyped clubs of North Goa. If you want good quality Continental food, this is the place to find. But what makes this place a real treat is the exceptional quality of service and attention the restaurant manager puts in to each guest. This is one place I never miss visiting on a North Goa trip whether for lunch or dinner.
I am not one to heap lavish praise where it’s undeserved, and let me start right off by saying this, this place deserves it. One cannot give any establishment full marks, purely for the sake of argument, or else I would have gladly given Arthur’s Theme in Candolim a gob-smacking rating. They have everything running like a smoothly oiled machine. Great service with immensely friendly staff, great ambience, supremely good food and most importantly, transparency on their menu. Let’s come back to that last bit for a second. I was impressed by this, primarily because the moment you walk into a restaurant and see the magical words ‘ask your server the price of the catch of the day’, you are filled with a feeling of dread about burning a hole in your pocket. At Arthur’s Theme, there is no such catch. From baby lobster to a variety of seafood, everything here is priced in fixed numbers, and you know exactly what you’re getting into.
If ur looking for amazing steaks u have to come to this restaurant. They have the best steaks in Candolim . So tasty and good . The place is a tiny European restaurant on the main Candolim road . It’s beautifully done up and the service is fab ! It’s a gem in the middle of the run of the middle restaurants.
The place set up is average. But the food makes up for it. One of the best places for Continental food. The service is quick. The names of the dishes are kind of different but the brief helps. Tried a lot of stuff and everything was well presented and prepared. Delicious..!!!
Loved the concept of their menu which is quite unique and we spent quite a lot of time deciding what to order. We tried a number of dishes but the best ones we had were the Queen Marchell,Heidi and Gwen. And I'm waiting to try the other dishes off their menu soon. In a tourist hub like Candolim, it is hard to find a quiet corner like this one and is definitely worth spending a peaceful evening in.
