My family ate here after getting a recommendation from a worker at our hotel. It is not easy to find, tucked away behind the OXXO store, next to Captain's Cove restaurant, and across from the Museo de Mayan. It is small, and we had the place to ourselves at sunset. What User doesn't like about Xkat-Ik:
We have been here several times, based on the proximity of this little hidden restaurant and our hotel. It is behind the larger Captain's Cove and is accessed south of Captain's Cove. On Monday night there is a free Mayan show which is up close and personal as the restaurant seats about 50, all outdoors. It fronts the lagoon which is nice. Excellent food, great atmosphere, friendly staff! This is a hidden gem! Must try the panuchos with chicken. The Caribbean show on Thursday was so much fun!! This will be our new spot when we go back to CanCan!!
