We were looking for some authentic Mexican food...and we think we found it. Regardless, it was delicious. The guacamole had great big chunks of avocado and the the salsas and veggies were so fresh. We had enough food for an army but it was so cheap and we wanted to try as much as possible. Tacos were pretty good- tongue was so soft, mocajete was good but the hot dog in it seemed strange...volcan was the best thing. T... View all feedback.
All about this place we love! excellent eating, very nice workers, so clean too! we are coming very late into the city! can not wait to be back!
Whether it’s their first time to mexiko or their experienced traveller, the most important is that mexiko has no national “Mexical Dish” per word. each state has its own unique taste, texture and presentation mixed with traditions and so...on in cancun they have many restaurant options, but it is hidden gems like these can offer them a taste of jalisco without the airway. this restaurant offers and prepares dishes that can take from hours to days to prepare properly before it is really ready for the consumption and I am glad that my friend brought me here. I have lived ten years in cancun and once in a past I am in a position to be invited to a beautiful joy like this place.
You will not have a more authentic meal than this family spot. The people are very friendly and the food was incredible. It’s not in the hotel zone so it’s a great break from that. It’s a 3 minute walk from the downtown Sam’s Club...stop on the R2. There is nothing touristy about this place.
I just can 't get over the delicious tacos for such an inexpensive price. Try also the main dish molcajetes mixto , and be opened for a wonderful flavors of truly traditional Mexican food. While you 're at it, if the cervezas start to get boring, try the...maracuya con la mezcal (a crossover between mojito and caipirinha)

The chicharron queso was not what I had expected but can't go wrong with fried cheese!
