The Ritz people saw that the old lounge was wanting and made a renovation and update in offerings. Very classy area to enjoy a light meal, have a cocktail or watch a sporting event. ( Congrats Cubs, better luck next year Indians). They also offer a continental breakfast in the morning. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Lobby Lounge at Ritz Carlton Cancun:
The sushi was good but the decor is way to dark and not what you would expect at a beach hotel. They also should have more seating outside and more snacks on the menu. View all feedback.
This is a great place for a quick continental breakfast, a nice lunch, and a drink before going to dinner, after dinner, or grab a nice dinner there in the lounge. Or, just for drinks and nightlife! You will not be disappointed and will go...back every day/evening of your stay.
We stayed at The Ritz Carlton for 10 days, and ate the Lobby Lounge several times during our stay. The food and service was outstanding.
We were fortunate to visit on a night with two outstanding singers. Not sure if the first is a regular singer there, but she was outstanding. The next was a Whitney Houston type show and was amazing. Great crowd that evening and dancing was a...must with or without a partner. Truly a grand time.
We had a blast dining and drinking in the Lobby Lounge at the Ritz. The live music was fantastic, and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves.
Just past the lobby at The Ritz-Carlton, Cancun is the D-Lounge. a contemporary lounge with both indoor seating and an outdoor terrace with views of the beach and main pool. While it is an ideal location for cocktails before dinner, I would recommend stopping by on a Friday or Saturday night when Berry Ivan White is performing. Not to be confused with “Barry White”… Barry IVAN White was a member of the Platters and also has a “soulful sounding voice” He is very entertaining and gets the entire audience in the show. D-Lounge does offer a menu of small plates so you really could make an evening of it.There was one draw back in that the service was not good. We waited about 10 minutes, then when no one waited on us, I went and got my own drink. The waitress didn't approach us until well into 30 min of our arrive.None the less, I would go back and “Dance the night away, Cancun style”!
