We had a wonderful time at La Palapa and were served by our favorite waiters David and Alexis every time. They are super friendly, very accommodating and were a pleasure to be served by. Every morning was a pleasant experience, they were very quick to fetch anything we needed and we enjoyed chatting with them. After spending hundreds of dollars to travel to Cancun for vacation, one wants to spend time on the beach or exploring the beautiful area not sitting in a restaurant waiting for far less than average food. The service was extremely slow maybe 80 minutes waits And when the soup arrived it was cold When the food arrived it was cold Everything was really bad And then the bill was 2000 mxp i dont know how for the food given i would have paid maybe 500 mxp

The views here with perfect breeze in December are what have the 3 stars. The food is very overpriced, but that is acceptable when oceanfront. Food is somewhat average. Good service if you dine in.
The food was plentiful with many options and choices. It was well displayed and delicious. The restaurant was very clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Great breakfast buffet every morning, great beach and poolside service, amazing food for dinner and lunch.
