Jr Del Norte - Cancún

There are plenty of high-end steak options in Cancun...Ruth's Chris, Harry's Prime, etc. But, if you're on a budget or a large group and want a great steak meal I'd recommend heading to JR Del Norte. You cannot beat the price in the Hotel Zone and you'll have a great filling steak meal. My favorite is the Arrachera (steak, onion or potato, sauces (green/red), sour cream, tortillas, 1/2 avocado, jalapeno beverage, natural beverages 1 refill). Do be careful of the green sauce, it's habanero based and hot! Sometimes if I'm extra hungry, I'll order the Cheese Fondue (with tortillas) as a starter. The restaurant lacks a little in atmosphere (more like a cafeteria), but you will find that the service, food, and value more than make up for it. I always visit this restaurant at least once on each trip to Cancun.

We are locals and this place is awesome!! The arrachera is always perfect and we also love the grilled chicken. Prices are very reasonable. Today we ate at the restaurant instead of pick up and Pablo was a great waiter attentive, professional and very friendly. Thank you!

Buenos precios, buena variedad de alimentos y buen servicio. Fuimos al mediodía y el ambiente es tranquilo. La carnes están muy buenas y generosas las ensaladas. Para volver!

Fuimos con amigos a ver un partido de futbol, tel servicio fue amable y rápido. La comida de muy buena calidad, lo mejor son los precios. Para estar ubicado en la zona hotelera creo que está es la mejor relación precio beneficio para una comida.
