Subway - Canberra

There's not much to say. They sell sandwiches. I got them on a good day. Nice smiles, jokes, fast makings. Price is very cheap. They offer suggestions. Maybe I just got lucky, or maybe I was too hungry, but I thought it was a treat.

I guess these places are just quick and convenient takeaway stops but for goodness sakes at least employ people with a modicum of good manners ! Had a very recent bad experience at the Barton Subway which I would certainly not recommend and most definitely will not rush back to !My order was very simple and straightforward but the dark haired young woman who served me had obviously been through a long or difficult day ! Nothing even approaching a smile during my order being taken and and when I simply asked her to repeat one of the basic ingredients she almost snapped my head off and jumped the counter ......... what's the saying ' costs nothing to smile 'This young woman certainly needs some urgent training in the customer service area !! Or better still, employ people who will engage with and be pleasant to customers.

Why are you looking for a review of a Subway fast food sandwich place. If you've eaten at them all. It's the same as every other one around the world, with the same menu (pretty much) and the same service.

Always go to subways for a quick quality sandwich , have been to plenty over the years. This one is very unorganized and unnatentive and understocked at 1:30pm on a sunday. First order was a terriaki chicken multigrain wrap. Out of stock on that but 1 white one left , when they pulled it out it was stiff and unusable so they said I could only have the rolls. Got the wrong order of chicken and had something else put on it. Asked if that was actually the terriaki and they proceeded yes. Was not terriaki. After receiving product I unwrapped and found that my subway was wrapped in used paper.... not impressed Second order was a steak and cheese, found the steak to be chewy and hard to eat with a bad flavour, capsicum was packed onto the order and over powering.Overall our first bad experience at a subway company.

Love grabbing a lunch time meal deal with footlong, drink and cookie then sharing with a friend. Handy location for lunchtime work meals and after work on the way home so you don't have to cook dinner.
