Was Weston Sauer at Provini a mag?
the flatbread was delicious, with a beautiful topping. my pizza was great and it was huge, so the next day I had to eat something for lunch. my friend enjoyed her pasta. the music was a bit too loud and the personal explained that it was shared with the bar next door so that they could not do much about it. However, they managed to make it a bit down, which made the experience much more beautiful. that was nice of th... View all feedback.
What Stefanie Swaniawski dislikes about Provini:
Lovely quiet little restaurant with reasonably sized meals. Menu somewhat limiting, could do with some more traditional pasta options. Pasta meal was perfect in proportion. Modern location with friendly staff but a tad over priced in comparison to another local Italian restaurant.Would visit again but wouldn't be my first preference. View all feedback.
A good meal to be had here. Came with a group. Beer came out quickly. Bruschetta was green tomatoes which three people. My grain fed steak was good but would have enjoyed more jus rather than the light drizzle. Nice find for mid-week work dinner
Provini could be so much better. I've been here twice, both on quiet nights. The staff seem to suffer from the modern malaise common in sub-standard restaurants, and clearly don't give a toss about their customers. The booths to the left of the bar are the place to sit for a quiet dinner. The pasta dishes are good, but the pizza totally misses the mark. These guys think serving pizza with cold chunks of mozzarella and potato crisps instead of 'house jacket chips' is ok. It's not ok Provini. Try harder. You could be a great restaurant.
I was here last night, and I really liked it. I had the pig's head slider. the calamari and the tiramisu. The food tasted quite nice, prob one of the better italian places in Canberra. Bit disappointed with the tiramisu as it came out in a deconstructed form, with the biscuits half dunked in the cream mix, and coffee on the side. I'll have to try this place again.
Provini was closed (possibly closed not safe and open table did not know.
