Oporto - Canberra
Oporto
Menu
The menu of Oporto from Canberra comprises about 85 different dishes and drinks. On average you pay about A$16 for a dish / drink.
Oporto offers a range of chicken meals and burgers across its locations in Civic Canberra, but customer experiences vary widely. While some patrons praise the friendly service, juicy chicken, and satisfying chips, many express frustration with miscommunication regarding menu items. Several diners discovered that popular options like the steak wrap and roasted chicken were unavailable, leading to confusion and disappointment. A particularly alarming account details a disastrous online order experience with delayed delivery and inadequate customer support. Overall, while Oporto has potential with its appealing offerings, inconsistency and service issues leave much to be desired.

The service at this restaurant was exceptionally friendly and helped me choose a delicious burger. The wait time was reasonable, and the quality of the food was excellent. The chips were also delicious. View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Oporto:
It had been a year since my last visit to Oporto, and unfortunately, this recent experience was quite disappointing. The fries were too salty and the burger was mediocre at best. I was also shocked by the high cost of extras - adding avocado cost an extra $1.50, which I felt was not worth the money. View all feedback.

Soft juicy chicken, nice chips. Service fast and efficient. Plenty of seating and toilets nearby. Can be a bit crowded in holidays and at lunchtimes and lately it has been hot in the mall, not enough air conditioning for patrons comfort.
I had a great experience at this Oporto location. The chips and burgers were delicious, especially the crispy lettuce. I would definitely return to eat here again. This was the best quick bite I had during my three days at Belconnen Westfields.
There are two Oporto's in Civic Canberra , The food Court and one further west down the street. Lets start with the one in the Food Court. I got handed the Brochure out of the front of it one day at lunch. Cool I'll take a look and go back. I noticed some nice marinated looking chicken. So I went back to order it. They say to me ohh we don't do the roasted chicken here you will have to go to our other store. LOL okay I went to the other store. The chicken was lovely fall apart but buried so hard in their sauce it over powered the roast chicken. Second time to the Food Court Oporto this time to order a Steak Wrap, they say Ohhhh we don't sell the steak wrap here you will have to go to our other store. I said you don't sell the steak wrap in your menu, you don't sell the chicken either. He said oh we sell chicken , I said no you don't you don't sell chicken pieces or roast chicken as advertised. Stunned silence. All they sell is the bashed flat chicken in wraps or burgers. Useless. Determined to buy a steak wrap I trekked out to their other store as told do. I enter the store and front up and said I do you sell the steak wrap here. Yes she replied. I noticed the menu never had it on. I pulled out their own brochure and said I'll have this one not the small one. She goes ohhhh we don't sell the steak here. I said do you actually sell it in any of your stores. She said ohhh we sell whatever we want. I shook my head and walked out.
