We sele... read more Browsing around the Malls in central Canberra after a morning of sight seeing, we noticed a stream of people crowding into a small café on Petrie Plaza. We selected two dishes each from a range of 9 available, served with rice at the bargain price of $8 each. We waited a few minutes for a table to clear and sat to enjoy vegetable, beef and chicken curries- all tasty, and stir fried minced beef which carried quite a punch. While we ate there was a steady stream of people in and out buying either take away or meals to dine in- not surprising given the tastiness of the food and the price. Would recommend for a quick lunch on the go.

The way they're set up reminds me so much of being in a Thai street food/cafeteria. At $8 for two selections served with steamed rice; dine-in or take-away is awesome value. Too bad they're not open at night too, because I'd be allll over that.

It is ve... read more My friend and I have been going to this cafe for lunch for at least 2 years. We generally go there twice a month. The food is very tasty and enjoyable. It is very nice Thai food. They have a very good selection of curries. Service is always excellent. It is value for money and I would be happy pay at least 25% more. The quality also has been very consistent.

They offer a great variety of delicious dishes with lots of flavors. The setup of the restaurant reminds me of a Thai street food market or cafeteria. The $8 for two selections with steamed rice is a great value for dining in or taking out. It's a shame they're not open at night, because I would definitely be a regular customer.
