Mister Zee's has been receiving rave reviews from customers who have enjoyed their delicious Lebanese-style charcoal chicken and tasty sides. The family feast is a popular choice, with more than enough food for four people. The restaurant offers a variety of options for dining in or takeaway/delivery. Some customers have commented on the fast and efficient service, while others have noted a hiccup when requesting a container for leftovers. Overall, Mister Zee's seems to be a hit with customers, with many planning to return for more of their delightful dishes.
Modern, light, inviting new restaurant to get excellent Indian food in a tapas format.
During our business trip to Canberra, my husband and I stumbled upon Mr Zees while searching for dinner options. We were extremely pleased with our decision to dine here as the food was delicious and the prices were reasonable for the generous portions. Now eagerly discussing how we wish there was a restaurant like this back home, we are already planning to return for lunch tomorrow.
I absolutely adore Lebanese-style charcoal chicken, so when Mister Zee's opened in Canberra, I was thrilled! The food is consistently delicious, especially the hot chips, and the garlic sauce is top-notch. The atmosphere can be a bit noisy, but it doesn't bother me since I usually just stop in for a quick meal.
Mr Zee 's is a new eatery at Civic (near Monkeybar) that is all about kebabs. It 's basically a more chic version of a Lebanese takeout. It 's sells the usual types (ie classic chicken/lamb/koftas/falafel), wrap or kebab with immaculate presentation on quality ingredients. They also put their own spin on some dishes like 'Lebanese Nachos ' (which used fried flatbread instead of corn chips). For first timers I would recommend the classic lamb wrap, the lamb chunks contained within were thick and juicy unlike your typical kebab takeout. Alcohol is also on the menu and they usually have daily meal deals so worth checking out for a quick lunch!
To break it down: the chicken shish was fantastic, especially since I hadn't had it in such a long time—I truly loved it. However, the lamb was disappointing, as the meat wasn’t cooked evenly. The sides of bread and hummus were standard, nothing particularly memorable. Overall, it’s a decent spot if you're in the mood for kebabs.
