La Mono - Canberra

The garlic chicken pide was yummy, quick and a good price. Came with a large slice of lemon to give it that extra zing. Would have again.

I wish they had fast food Lebanese like this in the states! Pretty good meat filled wraps and friendly service at a fast food price.

Firstly, let me tell you that I am a fan of Lebanese food and I have been to many restaurants in Australia that claim traditional Lebanese food. This has to be one of the better ones.I can say hand on heart, the Tabouli at La Mono has to be the best I have tried. The garlic and hommous dips.....delicious. I like my red wine, so when I asked the owner for a glass of red, he gave me the imported Lebanese red wine, brilliant. Well worth a visit and to be honest, reasonably priced too. Great setting, nice atmosphere and fresh food. What was really impressive was watching the owner going to tables and taking orders without writing anything down......Bravo!!!!

I have never gone away dissatisfied with La Mono. In fact there has always been too much food. And the choices of Lebanese wine and beer is a great foil for all the wanky beer places nearby.

Dry, over-cooked meats and very expensive. I did not enjoy the meal at all. The staff were very friendly.
