Relaxed casual eating. amazing waiting staff and eating. I float on yuzu cloud nine

Highroad is one of my favorite spots to bring friends from the city for a delicious brunch with delicious coffee. the menu is always interesting and eating is quite consistent good! had here about the weekend with some guests from overseas and and otherrew who took care of us was really nice! super cool ambiente too. my only note is that the acupuncture is a bit crooked and it can be quite loud so that not big of them have a hard time to hear people! except this love highroad! highly recommended! vegetarian options: generally at least 1 (if no longer) vegetarian options here. the personal is also very accommodating when needed!

We waited nearly an hour for our food even though we were the 3rd table to be seated and place our order. We did not receive any follow-up and only received a minimal apology for the long wait. The food arrived at room temperature, including our Ruben toastie which was also burnt. The atmosphere was nice and the coffee was good, but overpriced and not worth it. Overall, the service was lacking during our dine-in breakfast experience.

This is my fave cafe in Canberra. ONA Maple is the house blend and it’s very good. Seasonal all day menu usually has something to tempt me the Avo currently being my go to. Pastries are good, but get in quick! Staff are all pleasant and hard to fault can get a little sloppy on a flat out morning but that’s to be expected. Is now introducing evening dining Friday through Sunday menu looks good with seasonal Italian themed meals. Must mention the shop fit out as well lovely use of wood. Try and enjoy!
