I've dined here several times and enjoyed them all. The food is good, I recommend the rib if you have a big apertite. The service is just right. For some one with not great hearing. The tables are well spaced with out Amy intrusive back...ground noise. I'll be back again. View all feedback.
What Greg Anderson doesn't like about Haig Italian Restaurant:
The place is near to our pacific suite apartment n we decided to try a nearby restaurant. The atmosphere is casual not the fine dining type n the main course portion is large. We had the pork belly turned out good n salmon was good...too. Risotto as well. Only the pizza was a disappointment. Flat bread too. Looked more like pizza without topping. The food n atmosphere are nothing to shout about but the service staff... View all feedback.
Staff were lovely but that's the only good thing. Food was extremely overpriced for what you get, and you could easily make better for less at home. Cheese balls were okay, but bland and nothing special. Sausage and pea fettuccine was frozen peas (still hard, starchy, bland), cheap sausages and really bland. Prawn spaghetti with lime and coriander tasted like a couple of prawns with tinned tomatoes and a tiny squeeze of lime. Overall very bland as well and uninspiring. Pasta was undercooked, which was surprising considering how long it took to come out. Ordered a side of veggies as well which never came - even though we were one of only three tables in the whole restaurant. Didn't end up paying for them. Restaurant looks and feels like an old 80s bistro in a club and really does not match the menu prices. Of which, the menu still looks and sounds like something from the 90s, printed from Word '95. Overall? Avoid completely, don't waist your time or money - there is so much better in Braddon, and more authentic.

We ordered takeaway food to eat back at our hotel. Three pastas, a pizza and a garlic flat bread. Pizza and flat bread were delicious! I found the pastas disappointing- nice enough but no better than when I make it myself. For the price point...I had expected better quality. I’d look elsewhere next time.
