I’ve had to change my previous 5 star review to 1 star given we turned up today and the place seemed to be shut down, no indication anywhere of a temporary closure.
Ordered the combination plate comes with tea and coffee. Yum and reasonable price.
Ethiopia Down Under is one of Canberra's hidden gems inwhich my husband and I love to dine at. The food is always amazing with lots of flovour, you can tell it's made with love. We highly recommend this great little restaurant just be prepared good food take time.
Really enjoyed the food: flavours I am not at all familiar with, but ones that I instantly loved! We ordered the shared plates with the soft slightly sour bread: excellent!
Great service and amazing food. Just the right amount of Spice and flavour. Abraham, the owner of the restaurant is a wonderful person and took great care of us. Don't forget to try his home brewed ginger beer. Its a BYO place but they don't charge any corkage. So glad to find this place.
