Great venue for workplace celebrations. Simply put, great venue, tasty food with lots of options and an outstanding range of drinks particularly good on Mondays and Tuesdays when they offer two-for-one wood fired pizzas.

Excellent service when ordering and trying to decide on the right wine to drink...the bar tender was fantastic and let me try a few before I found the 'right one' for me and hubby. One drink turned into two! and the pizza's looked so devine we ordered one. Supper yummy and again the service was fantastic and allowed us to modify the pizza to our taste; extra chilli, less cheese, less pepperoni, more spicy beef....OMG the best pizza I've had in years. Yummy crispy base and so not a cheese soufflé like so many places seem to 'assume' you want! You guys rock and yes we'll be back.

However, we had not been able to get there for a few months so w... read more We have been going to Debacle on Lonsdale Street for a regular Sunday breakfast for many years. However, we had not been able to get there for a few months so we were pleased to see that it seems to have stepped up a notch so that it is not only very good value for money but also just very good. The coffee has always been the weak point but it was excellent this time and I hope it continues. The breakfast was hot and very tasty and the service was also much improved. We were met and helped to find a table, water and menus were brought to us and the staff were very friendly. Recommended for excellent value for money in the competitive Lonsdale Street cafes

The first time, I had a rump steak that I wouldn't even feed to my dog, but the Pilsner Urqell on tap was great. The second time, I tried the Thai beef salad and a mid-strength German beer, which was much better. The food, drink prices, and ambience at this place are really good. If only they would improve the quality of the food, it would be excellent.
