What Vincenzo Gaylord doesn't like about Chong Co:
Buying some good quality takeaway that can be easily shared and replacing it at home is a great way to cater for a group without too much fuss or cost. Chong Co in Woden has great dishes that are well sized for sharing. Good choices include…. Thai beef salad Prawn lemongrass stir fry View all feedback.
Food very fast when you on a go. We order Padthai, Tom yum prawns soup and ask the chef to cook Thai Payaya salad for us and she did. Staff very helpful.
Great lunch specials here, definitely worth a check out. Super fast and attentive service. Restaurant was clean and staff were inviting. Portions were adequate for price paid. My absolute favourite is their beef massaman, too bad they don't do a lunch special for this dish.
This restaurant deserves a better rate than 2.7!! My partner & I had a chicken cashew nuts & rice and vegetarian laksa from their lunch menu. My laksa was good enough for the price of $11.9 since I didn't have a high expectation. The chicken cashew nuts dish was surprisingly good!! Overall, this is a nice place to eat cheap lunch. I like the atmosphere, too.

Ordered takeaway 6 dishes to share for lunch at work. When we started putting food on the plates, we noticed there were not much in the takeaway containers. For example, red duck curry had only a few duck skins, a few vegetables and the rest was sauce, another dish had a whole potato with sauce in a rakeaway container. Some of us started eating food saying not much food other than sauce or giant potato but they were eating food as we were all hungry. Phoned to complain about lack of food/ingredients. Female staff contacted me back saying to bring the food back and will give refund. Took the food back to the chung co, the female staff took all takeaway containers out of bag and checking the food. A kitchen staff came out talking to the female staff in their own language and then gave me dirty look and then started yelling at me saying why did you eat food if you complain. I said when i was talking to the staff over the phone, i mentioned that work colleagues have been eating food because they were starving. She yelled at me again saying same thing. I told her that i will not talk to her and she needs to kearn manner.the female staff said she will give me 50% of money back because the food was eaten. Would i go back to the chung co again? Never. They dont know how to behave towards customers, food are packed mostly with giant potatos and sauce rather than good amount of vegies and meat, if you order takeaway. And if you complain about your takeaway, they will yell at you!
