Menu
The menu of Chomolungma from Canberra comprises about 40 different courses and drinks. On average you pay about A$15 for a dish / drink.
Chomolungma, located in Manuka, offers a cozy and friendly ambiance with decor reflecting Nepali culture. While the service was efficient and the staff friendly, there were some drawbacks such as long wait times due to understaffing and small serving sizes. The food, including the dumplings and goat thali, was generally well-received, but there were some issues with certain dishes. Despite these issues, many customers found the restaurant to be a hidden gem in Canberra, offering excellent quality food at a reasonable price. Overall, with some improvements in service and portion sizes, Chomolungma has the potential to become a popular spot for Nepalese cuisine enthusiasts.

What Alejandra Jaime dislikes about Chomolungma:
I really like their thali style choices but this last visit we tried some curries with rice and breads and of course, the momos. For a light lunch the pork momos are great…. ..about for for fried. But it’s also a good option to share one chicken/lamb/goat or pork curry cooked with ginger, garlic onion, tomato Himalayan spices and rice and a roti with a friend.. View all feedback.
Stunning eating and excellent service, surrounded by bright cherry. especially recommend the momos. so amazing. Don't forget.
An intimate, informal environment with beautiful eating. the goat-tali was very salty, but the momos and chicken-tahli was amazing! very friendly and relaxed
Fabulous Nepali cuisine! really interesting combo by vage Chinese and vague indians. superb dumpling, fabulous curry (the Himalaya sauce love that they have very cheap dhal as next to dish. my 22-year-old son explained it to his new favourite place!
The main dishes at this restaurant have a much better taste and value compared to the appetizers, which were a bit ordinary and expensive. The dining room is simple but pleasant, and the service was quite good.
