Bit crowded and noisy, but Breizh is fun, friendly and I think a Brittany cuisine. They use real butter in everything. I recommend the buckwheat crepes, the coffee and the pastries. View all feedback.

For Saturday dinner, one more substantial offering is made...coq au vin. We were a large group which had booked for a Saturday night. All of our group had a crepe dish of one sort or another, all very good. It was a nice friendly atmosphere, but the service was very slow. It took close to 40 minutes for our orders to be taken, and by the time the last plates were delivered to the table, the first to be served had finished their meals. I know that crepes must be made fresh, but even so with only a couple of other diners, the delay was a little much.Having said that, the meal was delicious.

Love this cafe, the food is fantastic and the staff are lovely. They make great coffee too. Be sure to make a booking as they are very popular.
Dinner Saturday night we were invited to Breizh Cafe in Ainslie - it was an excellent meal . Plenty of Gluten free options for my husband and everything served to us by the friendly and helpful staff was delicious.
Mouth-watering galette (surprisingly filling Breton crepes made with buckwheat flour, so also gluten free) and other cafe dishes, a wide selection of drinks including French favourites, and great coffee. Also lovely, friendly staff and a warm atmosphere. Highly recommended if you're in Ainslie.
