I enjoyed dining here. I heard that the owner is a wolf, and they really know how to do things right. The staff was helpful, and I appreciated that gluten-free options are clearly labeled on the menu. The breakfast dish I had was delicious! Overall, it was a great experience. View all feedback.

This place has lots of yummy options on the menu as well as healthy options and the service is very fast. It is quite trendy and average prices. I had the smashed avo bruschetta, it was not your average avo on toast, it had tomatoes, onions and barbecue sauce as well as the poached eggs but still delicious. The tropical juice was amazing. Nice view of the water from the outdoor seating area out the front.
My friends and I were on a weekend trip to Canberra from Sydney. We were looking for a place to eat brunch and saw that Bean Table was very busy. We decided to give it a go and we were pleasantly surprised. <br/ <br/ I ordered the blueberry hotcakes and the golden turmeric latte. I was so happy with my meal. The hotcakes were so fluffy and delicate, with the perfect amount of blueberries. The portion size was very generous. It was my first time trying turmeric latte and since then it has been my favourite drink. The golden colour was incredible. It really lived up to its name. Would definitely come back here again when I visit Canberra. <br/ <br/ The location is really great being right next to the lake. We went for a nice walk after our meal.<br/ <br/ The only thing that could have been better was the service. It was a busy time when we got there and we had to wait a while for someone to seat us.<br/ <br/ Food: 9.5/10<br/ Service: 8/10<br/ Ambience: 10/10
I absolutely loved my lactose-free Chai Latte! The scroll was truly amazing. The service was quick and friendly as well.
My family dined at this restaurant a year ago and enjoyed every aspect of it, so we decided to return during our recent trip to Canberra. I ordered the Smashed Avocado Bruschetta, and it was honestly one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had. The flavors were perfectly balanced, the ingredients were fresh, the portion size was generous, and it was visually appealing. Wow! The location is great and relaxing, and the service was friendly. Great job, everyone—you really nailed it!
Our coffees arrived quickly and were delicious. I ordered the mushroom and rye toast with chive labnah and opted to add a poached egg, which I was glad I did, as it enhanced the dish. It was truly delicious, especially the lovely labnah. My two kids enjoyed it as well and ended up eating most of it! The portion size was also quite generous. My husband chose the breakfast wrap and was very pleased with it. He found the sausage to be quite spicy, but that was a plus for him since he loves spicy food. His only suggestion would be to include a sauce with the wrap or on the side. The staff were fantastic, the food was served incredibly quickly, and everyone was very friendly. I would definitely recommend this place!
Nestled by the lake, this trendy café offers a delightful dining experience, particularly for brunch enthusiasts. Known for its generous portions and creative dishes, patrons rave about the fluffy blueberry hotcakes and inventive smashed avocado bruschetta, paired with refreshing tropical juices. The attentive staff is well-versed in gluten-free options, ensuring diners with dietary restrictions feel at ease. Although busy during peak times, the swift service adds to the overall enjoyment. With picturesque outdoor seating and a welcoming atmosphere, this cafe is a must-visit for those seeking delicious food in a charming setting.

Here's my breakfast review: They serve large hotcakes and eggs Benedict. Plus, their staff is knowledgeable about celiac disease, so they understand the importance of preventing cross-contamination.
