Contribute FeedbackAgostinis is a popular restaurant with a mixed reputation. While some diners have raved about the exceptional food and wonderful service, others have experienced issues with staff attitudes and high prices. The menu features a good selection of pastas and pizzas, but some believe the portions are on the smaller side. The restaurant itself is spacious, making it ideal for group outings, and the interior design adds to the dining experience. Overall, Agostinis offers a lovely ambiance and delicious food, but diners may want to be cautious of possible service hiccups and pricing discrepancies.
Excellent arrival, eating and personal. recommend the squid, arancini balls and salate beautiful staff that was really courteous
I had forgotten how much a great restaurant experience added to the pleasure of a meal! special greetings when entering! beautiful decoration with matching tablecloths with decor! serviettes, cutlery perfectly placed! lighting to add the ambiente! waiter, serve water, brot, butter, wein etc! was wonderful! no hurry to go out! restaurant wasn't loud so we could talk without screaming! just a great culinary experience all around! I hope they can visit to learn what a beautiful restaurant should be!
We visited this restaurant in the March 2021 and had a delicious dinner at the time, I said that it was the best seafood pasta I ever had, so we had high hopes when we paid a return in this month. we were. in the excellent east hotel and, feel exhausted from the traipsing around galleries / museen, we decided for room service, provided by the “in house restaurant” Agostini’s, in the second night of our stay. that was a great disappointment. when I remembered our previous meal, I ordered gnocchetti sarda, which, as delivered in our room, was a inconspicuous mossque with two overcooked sampi and, likewise, my man the choice of lamb ragu was over boiled and more tasteless. in the following night, a table in the restaurant before the trip to canberra booked, we were unimpressed again. our meals were an improvement in the previous night, but our impression was that the restaurant had developed into a pizza bar. besides pasta dishes (which we avoid) the menu was limited to four “secti” dishes, salmon, steak and vegetarian and a long, long list of pizzas. unfortunately we will not plan to dinate at agostinis at our next visit in canberra.
Damn great. that's all that has to be said. the first timer would go back. lively place, great eating and service.
Place was very busy, service slow, food nice but were shocked with a 15% surcharge on a Sunday. Not worth it. Will find other places to eat in Canberra.
