I thought it was over yass somewhere. so they can imagine my surprise when we go to the sweet little town, and warm glow from 1882 bar and grill only 20 minutes from canberra cbd. in what used to be the wood duck inn, owner (and sister cindy and nikki have all gone to update the beautiful old house. they had long seen the potential for the empty building and transformed it eagerly into a contemporary space, with high-quality dining, local brewing and a wine list with a series of weeps of the region canberra.

The friendly service made our visit even more enjoyable as we spent a few hours sitting outside and enjoying the lovely weather.

The food and decor are elegant, lavish, and upscale. Despite slightly smaller portion sizes and higher prices, the food is delicious and full of flavor. It is a fantastic location to host events or enjoy a lovely evening dinner.

The atmosphere was lovely and we will be sure to purchase a bottle of wine from their shop. We are already excited for our next visit. Highly recommend!
