Was Giang N at Cool N2 Ice Cream a mag?
This place has the best vanilla/milk ice cream I've tried in Toronto! Comparing to other ice cream spots along Queen West (Cauldron, Kekou, Cacao 70, etc. , Cool N2 is my most favourite so far. The ice cream was mixed fresh to order with liquid nitrogen which was super fun to watch! We opted for Honey Crisp (two scoops topped with Frosted Flakes honey drizzle and loved it. What Layne D dislikes about Cool N2 Ice Cream:
Nitrogen ice cream places seem to be the rage lately and this place isn't a terrible option. We found the product and presentation to be pretty solid, but the atmosphere and service left something to be desired. I'm not sure that we would come back but we enjoyed the ice cream. We tried the Triple Oreo in a cone and the Mr. Brownie in a cup. The presentation was spot on and the flavors of the ice cream were pretty go... View all feedback.
I stopped by here with my friend from the states and we had a great time! We ordered strawberry and mango nitro-ice creams and dragon breath. Was not disappointed. The ice cream was made with cream, frozen fruit, sugar and nitrogen. It was creamy and tasted the way it should, not too icy or artificial. The dragon breath was puff Cheetos soaked in nitrogen. It was fun to play around with and it definitely took that unpleasant saltiness of the cheese away. When you enter the store it is basic with some chairs at the front but if u move back there's a pink room and some high chairs to enjoy your ice cream on. It is very aesthetically pleasing and makes for great Instagram pictures. The service was good, and the workplace was clean, I never had a problem with hair or anything unpleasant in my ice cream. Overall a great experience, I definitely recommend!
Cool N2 is a nice concept when you've never been to nitrogen icecream before but it's more of a one time thing in terms of novelty. The store is rather small in the front so it was squishy when everyone was lining up to order and then wait for their order. The space in the fine seats around 15 people with high tables/seating and decorated nicely for your Instagram pics. We ordered the Mr. Brownie. This takes roughly 6 7 minutes to make and they have a glass window screen so you can see all the action. The icecream came with 2 marshmallows, a little antenna thing filled with chocolate sauce, and 2 scoops of icecream that is equivalent to a small anywhere else. The marshmallows were bleh I should've just told them to take it off. The chocolate sauce was okay but it became TOO chocolately for me when I added it to the icecream. The brownie icecream was average. I didn't hate it but I didn't love it either. Overall, I don't think this was worth the price but great for a first time experience. TIP: Get your camera ready to take a picture when your icecream is still smoky. This lasts about 15 20 seconds after it has been placed on the counter!

The ice cream was mixed fresh to order with liquid nitrogen which was super fun to watch! We opted for Honey Crisp (two scoops topped with Frosted Flakes honey drizzle and loved it. The ice cream was rich of milky flavour and its texture was amazing as well very light/fluffy and super smooth. It was also not too sweet that kept you eating without feeling sick of it. We also appreciated the fact that they added toppings to both scoops of ice cream, instead of just the one on top. The cereals added perfect amount of crunch! Overall, amazing nitrogen ice cream spot. Definitely coming back!

This is definitely an Instagram type of place and delivers on that. They have some seating but if it wouldn't take many people to become crowded. Plus the atmosphere wasn't anything exciting. If you need a sweet treat this will deliver.
