We dropped by to enjoy some hot chocolate on a chilly, windy day. The staff present were not only very helpful but also quite humorous. They are open to accommodating dietary restrictions, and the whipped cream they offer is hand-whipped, made from real cream stored in a bowl in the fridge. What Bryan Bendo doesn't like about Cape House:
Great service and atmosphere, food was not good. Our first restaurant stop in Atlantic Canada and I decided on the chowder. The broth was equilivent to watered down warm milk, it was horrible. I would have been happier with a canned version. Also avoid the chili, no flavour in that either.This is the only restaurant in the cape enrage area. This little restaurant was phenomenal in all areas, starting from our server (Brenda to the chef, or just a hometown cook as she calls herself, who came out personally to talk with us. We have been traveling throughout Nova Scotia and New Brunswick and this was our last meal in country. We definitely saved the best for last. ? Between the four of us, we had the fish chips (BEST EVER! , the seafood chowder, and scallops. We don’t usually have dessert, but we opted for the coconut cream pie and fried ice cream. Cutest beer glasses … too bad they weren’t selling them. ? It was truly the best place we have been in our travels and checked all the boxes!
Best fish and chips of my life. All their food is spot on and amazing. There’s zip lining too right next to the restaurant and it’s a lot of fun.
Leave all of your personal belongings in your vehicle. The staff are thieves. My brand new Ray Band sunglasses were stolen by staff. ???
The food was very good and i recommend this place for any travelers or locals near by
Food was lovely. It was very busy and the serving staff had too much to do. However they remained cheerful and friendly.Location was lovely
