Wow this place knocks it out of the park! In an area where there 's not a lot of breakfast choices this place is awesome! Super-friendly staff, nice atmosphere and 5-star food, love it! The only item on the wish list is more parking...its pretty tight. But that aside if you 're a local this is a regular, if you 're like me looking for a nice scenic drive through CT with a destination for breakfast or lunch, this is t... View all feedback.
What Sybil Desimone doesn't like about Mounta:
Today we stopped by for brunch. We were greeted in the parking lot by patrons who were leaving and said it was just too loud for them. We entered and it’s such a cute place, but the noise level for 30 or more people was too high. We even observed staff answering the phone with one finger in their ear trying to take orders. My husband and I both ordered a skillet dish. The potatoes were sitting in grease and burned. W... View all feedback.
We stopped by for a Sunday breakfast at the cafe. Staff was genuinely friendly. A greeter did not just ask for a name when seating us, a server used the name to address when taking an order and bringing food. Offerings on the breakfast menu were original and very tasty. As we enjoyed our breakfast, we were amazed to observe that everyone working in the cafe was both efficient and relaxed.
Such a great lunch spot, I recommend the turkey sandwich! We like to get food to go and the online mobile ordering is so easy. The inside is cute though! And everyone is so nice and it benefits a good cause : win win!
What a find! Traversing NY to RI we enjoy taking the scenic route. We chose this place for convenience and timing along our route. Service was prompt, friendly and efficient. The menu was limited but offered a nice selection and they were enthusiastically amenable to any and all modifications. The pancakes were served with a 3 berry compote that seemed to derive its sweetness exclusively from the fruit, which is a big plus for me! The bacon was perfectly crisp. My wife enjoyed a version of her favorite omelet, which always includes spinach and cheese. After eating nearly half the omelet searching for the cheese we inquired with the waiter about the lack of cheese. He checked with the kitchen and they recognized that they omitted the cheese. They apologized and refired another omelet with cheese! Delicious and suffice to say, we had a very light dinner. If passing anywhere nearby in the future we will make it a point to stop!

Great sandwich. Nice staff. We ate outside at the picnic tables.
