This time we were so excited to find an apartment to rent that is just above the restaurant and could not wait to take our friends who were traveling here with us for the first time for drinks and appetizers on the patio that sits on the edge of Piazza Garibaldi. And wow disappointing does not begin to describe our experience. WAit staff was scarce to non existent. No one e Ef came to voluntarily take an order attempts to flag down someone were futile as they were experts in avoiding eye contact with their would be customers. The lone waitress was visibly irritated that she had to work instead of being able to camp her on the front stoop of our neighboring apartment building to chain smoke we were constantly having to get her to move out of our way during our stay to get into our apartment) and to top it all off, when we tried to pay that first time we were there, she asked us to give her the card PIN number instead of bringing the card processor to the table as has always been the norm. Since we were here right next door for a month, we thought it would only be fair to give them another chance. So one didnhabd us a drink menu and told us to sit wherever we wanted and 25 minutes later we gave up on anyone ever showing up to take our order and left. They went from best to last and I fully expect to find them out of business the next time we visit,
