What User doesn't like about Restaurant Bucovina:
Slow service. Rude and unmotivated personnel. Waited a very long time to order. And when the food arrived, my partner had to wait 50 minutes for his food to come. This place is not worth it. Extremely slow. Hide more employees... if you know you're a busy restaurant. I advise people to avoid this place when you're hungry. There are much better places. View all feedback.
Lunch break on the way back from a day trip in the area. The place is centrally located, there are a few parking spaces in the front, but you can also use the side street. There is also an adjacent business where... You can buy local treats such as cold cuts, canned food, cakes, cheese and craft beer. The menu is around traditional regional cuisine, but with some modern supplements such as burgers and pizza. Mostly I don't see these convictions with good eyes, but as long as they try to make it right, it doesn't matter to me. It is also economically sensible to provide a larger audience of customers, including younger generations. We tried the Focaccia, it was excellent (dirt cheap also and also saw some burgers served a whole table near us, they saw very appetite. Smiling, hospitable and well prepared staff, pleasant atmosphere, beautiful view of the cathedral over the street, window seats suitable for people watching. The service was fast, maybe too fast. If the next course is brought before you had the chance to finish your current, you can't help but feel hastened to finish and leave quickly. For beginners we had Srijele (a winter special of the region consisting of baked potato slices with various accompaniments. These can be either harmless or potentially toxic (if the solanin levels are high). The cook should know why the risk is taking? I asked for the replacement of regular garlic sauce (which would have been too strong for the few hours drive back home with an aioli sauce that should have been milder. It turned out that Aioli was not aioli, just a beautiful name for garlic Mayo. Then we had some traditional soups, câmpulungeană (potatoes, cream and sausages and Dresală (potatoes, vegetables and cream). Hearty and rich, excellent to warm you up in the cold season they did. For the net I had a pig bone with beans that was excessively sweet (as if they used a sweet chili sauce when cooking ankle, something not mentioned on the menu. The accompanying autumn salad with honey mushroom was great. My wife had a Bulz (traditional oven baked shepherd dish consisting of a mixture of polnta, sausage, bacon, cheese, egg . It was ok, but light on cheese (which in composition, not the grated top and heavy on the meat, the egg was cooked to oblivion (under the cheese gratin and not above as it should be and as the menu it should be. Because of the generous portions, we didn't come in deserts, maybe next time. They serve some interesting lemonades with local twists such as spruce tips or sea buckhorn flavors. And their own craft beer brand, Kimpolung, definitely worth a try. We appreciate the feedback maps, showing that they appreciate customer opinion. Although in my case a bit restrictive in view of the size of the card and the extent of my feedback : I mentioned only the essential points, this review should cover the rest. Even with all the above mentioned mentions, most of which are personal taste, it was a good experience overall. Would recommend it and visit again when in the area.
DISSAPOINTING! The food does not meet the standards of a 4* restaurant. The food and services are ok for a canteen, but the prices are from a 4* restaurant. The waitress was very boring and unfriendly, as if she had done us a favor she served us. For the price we pay to eat here, we would have two dinners in a first class restaurant in our hometown. Wasted money!
The worst restaurant in Campulung. 5 dishes, bad meat in all of them. The pork was raw. Dont recommend!
