Agriturismo La Vaccareccia

In fact La Vaccareccia is not mainly a restaurant (even if you can eat after reservation but it is above all an agriturismo. My partner and I stayed here for nine days in August 2014. Starting from the assumption that the farm is not a choice for everyone, but only for those who love a certain type of holiday, knowing how to appreciate environments and genuine relationships, getting to Vaccareccia is a pleasant discovery. The authenticity of the structure (a farmhouse from the beginning of the last century renovated for a few years, a true tourist farm! and the affability of the managers turned out immediately a reason for pleasure and relaxation. The rooms in all 4 are spacious, well maintained and equipped with everything necessary. Maria's cuisine serving only and exclusively the products of her own company (meat, vegetables, cheeses, cold meats, wine, oil, honey and jams is a delight for the palate: every day the proposals vary and are always up to the expectations of those looking for genuine and quality cuisine. The location is ideal for different types of tourism: from those looking for relaxation of the countryside to those (as we love to discover the peculiarities of the places that visit, turning by car, sea, art, cellars. The SS16, just a few kilometers away, allows you to move south and north, from Gargano to 'Abruzzo, in absolute comfort. The structure is in fact a few kilometers from the beaches of Campomarino and Termoli, but also close to Vasto, with its beautiful old town, in Larino (which has remarkable archaeological remains, to various cellars that produce excellent wines (remember the Tintilia, autochthonous vine of Molisano . The family and friendly climate that Caesar and Mary (and their four beautiful children can establish spreads among the guests, acting as a catalyst for relationships and friendships, without taking away from everyone's privacy. The evenings spent chatting on the terrace, accompanied by wine and Caesar's grappa, are undoubtedly among the most beautiful memories of our stay. An absolutely recommended structure, which well fits different types of holiday, from that in couple to that in the family (the children will go mad for the animals that are located on the farm! . We usually like to change the holiday location, but here we count to return. Ps: an important clarification. La Vaccareccia is in Campomarino in the province of Campobasso (Molise and not in Campomarino di Maruggio (as it seems to suggest the address given on Tripadvisor located in Puglia!

In the search for a place halfway between Romagna and Salento (meta of the holiday) , we chose to stop in this farm in a somewhat casual way, booking blindly . .. and it was a lucky shot. A real farm in the middle of their cultivated land, but a stone's throw from the slopes of Campomarino. An oasis of peace to which we are no longer accustomed. Many types of animals that have attracted the attention of my little son. Spacious and clean rooms. But the courtesy of the managers is one of the other strengths: they welcomed us in the family. And they are also great cooks:: we decided a little to the last to dine in the farm and they upset us with excellent dishes, plentiful and really genuine.. The only sin was to be stopped one night and therefore not have had any other time to fully enjoy the context Congratulations

We had a great time in a bucolic setting and surrounded by the nature of a real cozy farm. The sympathy and friendliness of the owners Molisani has done the rest. Excellent olive oil and local wine. Yesterday evening I returned to dinner in this lovely place that I now know for 8 years. It has now become a loving custom. The kitchen is beautiful. The appetizers strictly of their production, from bacon to capocollo, ranging for a spicy salami. It was the morning cheese shift. Guys, the pepper bruschetta is the top! We continued with pappardelle with a delicious and pink ragù, just as I like it. And to finish an oven chicken with contour of tomatoes and cucumbers always of their production. I did not even give up dessert: soft chocolate cake stuffed with peach jam packaged by the hostess, very kind and very caring. I believe that in the hinterland of Molisano the Trash of Caesar and Mary is one of the best places to visit. I forgot! In the appetizers there is a delicious spelt salad, pork loafers, pumpkins with meat and potato pancakes. The price more than honest. I highly recommend it.

We arrived in the morning, the road to arrive unpaved, but vabbeh had only been that the problem, the bad thing was that the room smelled of humidity and also the sheets in fact in the morning I woke up with a mega dolor of head for having inhaled all the humidity, then I understand that we are in open countryside but at least equipped the rooms with a mosquito machine, as I entered I externate myself, equal cleaning Ah they had to stay two nights, after the first we ran away! !
