Rubino - Campitello di fassa

Fine local food with good atmosphere and hospitable staff. the chef has good hand. Local regional dishes and other fine Italian food. We enjoyed it allot.

Visited Hotel Rubino and stayed for one week and the hotel itself is excellent. Clean and modern rooms and wonderfully located on the edge of the village so peaceful and great views of the river and mountains. Staff are friendly and professional and do all they can to accommodate any requests. The food is basically good but one criticism is that there appears to be a vegetable shortage. If you want meat and two veg, this is not the place for you. The meat, yes, and very good it is too. The pasta dishes as expected are superb. But be prepared to supplement your main course with the salad buffet which is where the cold vegetables hide! Breakfast is basically a cold buffet and be prepared to boil your own eggs and get your own tea/coffee, but again is good and plentiful. All in all, a good experience but not quite fine-dining.

We had a marvelous dinner tonight at Hotel Rubino Restaurant. The food was great and the service was outstanding !!! Definitely recommended.
