A first class fine dining meal. Decided it was time for lunch as we drove through Campillos. A google search showed up this restaurant which is tucked away out of the town near the railway station. Parking was easy and when we enquired at the bar if food was being served we were shown through to the restaurant. The waiter recommended fish which had been brought in that day from Malaga and we followed his advice. Indeed the food was delicious and beautifully presented two courses each together with a glass of wine and a beer came to around 60 Euro which bearing in mind the quality of the food and the excellent service seemed good value.
My wife and I stumbled upon this place and we were pleasantly surprised at how good it was. Not only was the service friendly and even fun, but the food was great.
I and my wife had a long lunch with two courses and wine. Food was not only excellent but gave new and surprising twists to otherwise wellknown dishes. Service was friendly and knowledgeable, and we were treated to a sherry testing at the initiative of the head waiter. We strongly recommend Yerbaguena!
We stumbled upon Javier’s restaurant by chance and enjoyed a terrific meal. They are clearly passionate about their food which was top notch. Javier provided us with La Tana and FM as Granada recommendations for wine and seafood whiz were both spot on.
This restaurant was recommended by a Spanish friend and proved to be well worth the visit. It's actually close to where we're staying 10min by car but probably closer to an hour from Malaga. Good friendly service and unusual flavour combinations make this stand out, pork brochette in teriyaki sauce for me, minced chicken in canelloni style pastry envelopes for my wife. Deserts were equally good.
