My friend ordered the savoury french toast and... read more I've been wanting to try Deus since the last time I came when there was no space on a Sunday around brunch time. My friend ordered the savoury french toast and I had a matcha panna cota. My dish was very delicious! It was well balanced, not too sweet and the texture was smooth. I would order it again. The interior is very spacious and well lit. <br/ <br/ The only let down was the service. Although it wasn't busy, no one came up to us to take our orders in a timely fashion so we thought we had to go up to the counter to order and pay first. The waiter also couldn't understand what we were trying to order and we had to repeat ourselves.<br/ <br/ Food: 8/10<br/ Ambience: 9/10<br/ Service: 6/10

Coffee was great. <br/ <br/ Only issue was that we arrived at 11:15 for brunch and the waiter wouldn’t take our order until 11:30 as it was from the lunch menu. I’d recommend taking the order but not putting it through until 11:30/letting us know there would be a wait as lunch service had not started yet. We didn’t expect the kitchen to start cooking early, but it wasn’t busy and it seemed quite trivial delaying taking our order.
