Fonti Del Clitunno

Le Fonti del Clitunno , in Umbria, not far from Spoleto, is a romantic and solitary place, a transparent body of water fed by underground currents in which willows and cypress poplars are reflected; a natural wonder surrounded by lush vegetation. We landed here on a hot August morning around 2pm eager to have a good lunch. The restaurant located in the small park did not disappoint our expectations. The food is delicious, the service is friendly and the whole atmosphere is fun and laid back. We had excellent antipasti misti , first courses made by fresh pasta, fresjwater shrimps and river fish. The menu includes also a wide choice of fish and seafood. I loved crescionda , a typical dessert from Spoleto, made by amaretti and chocolate.

Excellent Pizza and Desserts, good friendly service, was full so you might want to book! Had a great meal at a very reasonable price. Lovely local wine, would definitely go back!

Here you will find a wonderful ambience and even better food! Umbria style dishes prepared with care and passion. The staff are very polite and serve to ensure a great experience. I come here every time I’m in Italy. There is a beautiful lake situated on the ground which is a site to see!

Excellent restaurant right next to the sources of the clitunno. the antipastone (tagliere with many gouits, meats and cheeses) really big, especially the scrambled eggs with truffle. Very good spaghetti. attentive and friendly staff.

Good restaurant next to the source of the clitunno! I recommend their cutting board! moderate prices!
